About Me

Hi y'all, My name Is Tate Hunter, I am born and raised In Asheville, NC (I'm a unicorn) I am 25 years young. I went to high school and college around the  Asheville area, I was a Parks and Recreation management major at Western Carolina University with a focus In outdoor leadership, graduated In 2020, and I went from WCU straight to the Outer Banks, NC where I was a kayak guide. Worked at Brighton Ski Resort In Salt Lake City, Utah as a lifty. Went back and forth from out west to WNC where I worked as a zipline guide at Navitat for three seasons. I eventually made my way out to Winter Park, CO where I worked as a snowmobile tour photographer and fell In love with photography.

Ever since then I have had a camera In my hand. I have tried all sorts of different types of photography (Music, Cars, Wildlife, landscape, etc.) I love It all but find my true calling and passion, shooting Portrait photography. Photographing people Is just so unique, obviously everyone has their own differences In personality and look, everyone has different Ideas In mind as to how their shoot flows, It keeps things Interesting and fun. 

As I grow as a photographer I am always learning new ways to shoot, and edit. I love to try new things, take people's Ideas and dreams and execute them In the shoot. I would love to shoot solos, couples, families (I love kids), all the fur babies are welcomed, I would like to get more Into music photography so Invite me to your concerts, and If you have a cool car/motorcycle lets go for a ride and take some pictures of those as well!
